Entrepreneurship Workshop 2025: Developing Marketing Strategies in the Era of Society 5.0
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the English Language Education Study Program (PBI) Student Association of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya successfully held an Entrepreneurship Workshop with the theme "Marketing Strategy in the Era of Society 5.0: Personalization and Humanity". This event took place in the Hall of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Building and was carefully prepared by all the committee members involved. Since morning, the atmosphere at the location was already busy and full of enthusiasm. The committee worked together to prepare the registration table, check technical equipment, and ensure that the room was neatly arranged. When participants began to arrive, they were warmly welcomed and directed into the main room after receiving refreshments.
The event was officially opened by the MCs, Nur Habibah Masyhuroh and Fitriana Rose, with great solemnity, starting with the playing of the National Anthem and the Uin Sunan Ampel Surabaya Hymn. After that, the speech was delivered by the Chief Executive, Adrian Novelino Ismail, followed by the Head of HMP PBI M. Muzakky Al Himam, and then continued by the Head of PBI Study Program, Ma'am Rahmawati, M.Pd. In their speeches, each expressed their hope that this activity could become an inspiring learning space and open up new insights about the world of entrepreneurship that is in line with the development of the times. After the speech from the Head of PBI Study Program, the event continued with a prayer reading by the Head of Department, Mr. Moh. Faizin, M.Pd.I. The prayer was expected to be a joint prayer so that this event runs smoothly and provides benefits for all participants.
The workshop then entered the first session guided by the moderator, Zahratul Fitri. This session presented the first speaker, Kak Puspita Regina Cahyani, who delivered presentation entitled "Digital Marketing for Personal Branding and Selling". In this session, participants were invited to understand the importance of utilizing digital platforms to build a strong self-image and effective selling strategies in the era of consumption. After the first session closed, the atmosphere became more relaxed with an acoustic performance from students who performed two songs live. This moment provided a more relaxed atmosphere before participants returned to the next session.
The second session was also guided by Zahratul Fitri as the moderator, presenting the second speaker, Kak Riza Rabbani, who delivered material entitled "Marketing 5.0: Technology for Humanity". In this session, participants were invited to understand the concept of marketing that does not only rely on sophisticated technology, but also prioritizes human values in reaching and serving consumers.
After the second discussion session ended, the event continued with the presentation of certificates as a form of appreciation to the speakers and moderators. Then the MCs officially closed the event, and continued with a group photo session as a souvenir. This workshop provides an experience that not only adds insight, but also motivates to continue to develop in the world of entrepreneurship. In this era of Society 5.0, technology is important, but human values remain the main foundation in building sustainable relationships and marketing strategies.
