TAKJIL ON THE ROAD AND TABLIGH AKBAR X DIES NATALIS PBI 2025

            Surabaya, March 17th, 2025 - Takjil On The Road and Tabligh Akbar X Dies Natalis PBI 2025 has been successfully held. The event was held by the English Language Education Study Program Student Association, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with the theme Celebrating PBI's 20th Anniversary with Blessing and Gratitude in Ramadan. This event was held at the Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqin Orphanage, Gayungan, Surabaya. This event started at 3 PM and at that time the first event was greeted with a performance of the Student Banjari from the English Language Education Student Association to welcome the guests. Attended by almost all parts of the English Language Education Study Program Student Association, and also attended by the Head of the PBI Study Program, Ma'am Rahmawati, M.pd and Ma’am Fahmy Imaniar S.Pd., M.Pd.as the Secretary of the Study Program. There is also a representative from CEDA, M. Zainudin Alhami, S.pd. The last, not forgetting the speaker of the study material M. Fahrurozi, S.H.I, M.Ag.  On their arrival, the guests were invited to fill in the attendance list being directed by the committee to sit in the places that had been provided.

            This event was hosted by the MC from the English Language Education Students Class of 2024 Muhammad Rafli Pradana and Masyita Khairani Musri. This event began with a banjari performance. Then, was continued with the opening by the MC and reciting the holy Qur'an by Anindya Avit Sholihah. After that, there was a short speech by the administrator of the Al-Ustadz Khairon Nasihin orphanage, S.Pd.I as the administrator of the orphanage. Then, it was continued with the speech of the chairman of the TOR 2025 Choirul Iza Nabila and Muzakky Al Himam as the Head of Student Association of English Language Education Department. After that, it was continued with a speech from the representative of CEDA M. Zainudin Alhalimi, S.Pd. and short speech from the Head of the Study Program, Ma'am Rahmawati, M.Pd. From her speech, she gave motivation to the children at the orphanage to study English.  

            Then, the event continued with the distribution of prizes for the PBI anniversary poster competition which was won by Atta and Fadhila, both of them could not attend. So, they were represented by the committee, Zahra and Nahwa. The prize distribution was carried out by M. Zainudin Alhalimi, S.Pd. and Muzaaky Al Himam. After the prize distribution, it was continued with a Ramadan Study filled by Ustadz Fahrurozi, S.H.I., M.Ag. The study discussed how prayer and with the Quran we get blessings and its blessings are very important for us to increase our good deeds in the holy month of Ramadan. 

            Coincidentally, this event coincided with the 20th Anniversary of the English Language Education Department which was celebrated by CEDA, HIMA and orphanage children. Later on, as the audience waited for the Maghrib prayer, the committee from the English Language Education Student Association made ice-breaking while waiting for the time to break the fast. 

            The last agenda of the happiness of this event is to carry out Maghrib prayers in congregation and break the fast together with Ma’am Rakhma, Ma’am Ima, CEDA, HIMA committee, and the orphanage children. After breaking the fast, followed by giving donations to orphanage children in turn. The last agenda is the documentation session. From this event, we hope that our study program can bring happiness to others and can spread a positive impact to those around us.
